Dr. Tony Purdy

Dr. Tony Purdy graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic from Life University in June of 2005. He is a member of the MAC (Michigan Association of Chiropractors) and the ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association).

Dr. Tony comes from a long line of chiropractors, which include: his father, sister, aunt and uncle, who all practice in Michigan. Dr. Tony is married to Dr. Marie-Claude, who is a chiropractor as well, and they have a daughter named Olivia who is two years old. As a recipient of chiropractic care since birth, he understands how powerful the body is when free of nerve interference (i.e. Subluxation ).

Dr. Tony enjoys golfing, working out and being around his family. His mission is to change the world one spine at a time, by providing the best chiropractic care, and educating patients about health and wellness.

Dr. M-C Purdy

Dr. Marie-Claude Purdy has been in practice for 5 years. She is currently the youngest ever to graduate from Life University in Marietta, Georgia. She is from Montreal, Quebec, therefore she is fluent in both French and English. Dr. M-C is happily married to Dr. Tony, above. They are the proud parents of their daughter Olivia, who is 2 years old.

During her years in practice, Dr. M-C has taken care of patients that were an hour old to 90+ years old. She utilizes many adjusting techniques including Diversified, Thompson, Gonstead, Extremity adjusting, Toggle Recoil, Activator, and many others to fit the personalized needs of her patients. She is board-certified nationally and in Michigan. She is a member of the MAC (Michigan Association of Chiropractors) and the ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association).

Purdy Chiropractic of Rochester is the only husband and wife team operating in the area. Dr. M-C enjoys activities such as working out, golf and a nice walk with her family. Her goal is to help heal as many people as she can!

Glenda Ryan

Glenda Ryan has lived in Rochester Hills for the past 5 years.  She is happily married to her childhood sweetheart from Montreal, Quebec. They have three sons who have been playing travel hockey since they were 6 years old.

Glenda has a solid background in Office Administration and Accounting Management.  During her past work experience, she has always taken great pride in working for family business's helping them to succeed and grow.

Glenda has been working with Dr. M-C Purdy for a few years, and loves welcoming each and every patient to Purdy Chiropractic of Rochester.

Chiropractic Assistant
Shelly Marasco

Shelly Marasco has just recently joined our team as a chiropractic assistant. She is married to her husband Ken and they have two children. Her daughter dances competitively and on her high school dance team. Her son plays football and is an avid snowboarder.

Shelly has a background in business. During her past work experiences, she has held positions as a prototype parts buyer and office/retail services with emphasis in customer satisfaction.

Shelly enjoys baking, reading, walking and spending time with her family. She likes her new responsibilities and is ready to meet all our patients, here at Purdy Chiropractic!

Massage Therapist          
Lauren Ennis

Lauren Ennis was born and raised in Rochester Hills where she now resides.  Lauren has a background in health sciences from Oakland University, and graduated from Irene’s Myomassology Institute in February 2010.  She also went on to further her training at Beaumont’s Oncology and Hospital Massage program so she can expand her knowledge of myofashial  therapy  with several different types of illnesses including  cancer, multiple sclerosis, leukemia and so forth.  Lauren is motivated by relieving stress and pain out of patients. Her goal is to help as many people as she can.

Lauren enjoys staying active and loves being out doors.  She loves mountain biking, golf, being near the water, and of course spending time with friends and family.  Lauren is excited to be a part of Purdy Chiropractic and wants everyone to learn how massage can help them!

Massage Therapist
Teresa Capasso

Teresa Capasso left her native England 20 years ago and lived in the U.S. and Italy before settling in Lake Orion, where she lives with her husband and 3 teenage children. A keen interest in holistic healthcare and lifestyle led Teresa to pursue a career in massage therapy. She is a graduate of Irene's Institute of myomassology in Southfield, MI. Teresa is also a Reiki III practitioner and plans on becoming a Reiki master.

Teresa enjoys reading, working out and creating new dishes in the kitchen for the varying diets of her family, which includes vegan, vegetarian and gluten free! She also loves music and theatre, with her favorite performances being those starring her own three talented kids. She looks forward to meeting all of you and is very happy to be part of the Purdy Chiropractic Team.
