What is Spinal Decompression and How Does it Work?

Spinal Decompression treatment provides non-surgical relief to severe back and neck pain sufferers by gently reducing the pressure within the spinal discs. The bones of the spine are slowly and methodically separated using a state-of-the-art DOC Spinal Decompression Unit. As the vertebrae are separated, pressure is slowly reduced within the disc, reducing the disc bulge or herniation. This removes pressure off the spinal nerves and drastically reduces pain and disability.

Through the use of revolutionary computer aided technology, gentle non-surgical decompression is applied to the spine during comfortable, relaxing half-hour sessions in which patients recline, listen to music, often falling asleep.

Patient Testimonial

"I have been suffering from lower back pain for a few years. I came to Purdy Chiropractic and was given an overall initial exam and some x-rays to look at my condition. Dr. Tony was very kind, understanding and really listened to my complaints. A plan was developed to use adjustments with spinal decompression to alleviate the pain caused by my 3 lumbar herniated discs. After the first couple of sessions of spinal decompression I already felt a difference. I continued with the plan and now after a few months I am pain free. The office staff is very warm and welcoming. Both Dr. MC and Dr. Tony really care about their patients. Thanks to them I'm in a much better place." Laura G.
